I TCHATCHIPEN (the truth, in romanò) is an international quarterly magazine that offers its readers the chance to approach the Gypsy nation from a social and cultural perspective. A real picture of the Gypsy community is offered by means of articles, reports and research, avoiding stereotypes and dealing with different issues from an ideological plurality and with scientific rigour. I TCHATCHIPEN also shows the latest and most significant publications related to the Gypsy community; through a section devoted to the review of books and magazines you can feel the pulse of a Gypsy culture that undergoes constant development. In short, I TCHATCHIPEN turns out to be a very useful tool for teachers, social workers, sociologists, anthropologists, linguists, journalists and for all those who wish to come closer to one of the oldest, largest and most unknown minorities in Europe.
