25.03.2002 / Cultural and music happening titled “Millennium of Prosecutions and Pogroms”, on the occasion of 10 centuries since Roma left India, will be held on the Roma Nation Day, on April 8^th, on the mouth of Sava in Danube. The manifestation is organized by Roma Community Centre April 8^th and patron of the Manifestation will be Mr. Vojislav Kostunica.
   On the occasion of the Manifestation “Millennium of Prosecutions and Pogroms”, they received the following message from office of the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia:

   “I have honour to inform you that the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Mr. Vojislav Kostunica accepted your initiative to be patron of the manifestation on the occasion of 10 centuries since Roma left India – Roma Nation Day. Mr. Rasim Ljajic, the Minister of National and Ethnic Communities, was also informed about this in written.
   The President Kostunica has asked me to send you his insuring that such manifestations, their symbolic and cultural content are of great importance, both for Roma national minority and all other citizen of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia who are making efforts for improvement of their civil and human rights.
